Teacher’s Cube using Grow

Hey there, this is Barbara, bringing you a project using the gorgeous image Grow – a Nouveau Girl and she is perfect for any teacher gift with that apple of hers!  For today’s project I have decorated a wooden cube and added a spinner on the top for some fun.   The papers are from My Mind’s Eye (Howdy Doody) and I’ve used odds and ends to decorate each side.  The bottom part of the cube is left plain but I’m sure there is a secret message I can think of to add later.  Secret messages are the best – aren’t they?!

On one of the sides I used the accessory stamps that come with Believe, another of the Nouveau Girls…

The other side of the cube goes all out with the 3D embellishments and includes two new butterflies I found over the weekend…

Finally the best side of the block with a better look at Grow

The spinner on top has eight spots: Awesome!, A+, X-cellent!, Way to Go!, Best Ever!, Good Job!, You can do it! and Fantastic!  This was a fun project to make and it was like creating five tiny tags or cards – one for each side.  I can see how fun it would be to create a dice too.  ;D  You can check out more details on my blog and thanks for dropping by.

Don’t forget about our Color Inspiration challenge right HERE!!! There is still plenty of time to join and the prizes up for grabs are ODDULOUS!!!
