Bloom Background

Bloom Background

Hi everyone. Vera’s here today at Some Odd Girl.

When it comes to my card, I do love making bright and cheerful card. And this time, I am turning my attention to the set Gwen In Blooms. I love that this set comes with 3 cute critters and some gorgeous flowers that can be used to create some awesome background.

And, that’s exactly what I do with my card. I used the flower from the set to create the background on my card and I will show you how the same flower background can look different with just some extra coloring. Let’s look at the first card, shall we.

For this first card, I simply stamped the flowers several times in various colors and leave it at that. Now, after I took picture of the card, I decided that I wanted to color the flowers. And, I am very please by the softer feeling that resulted from  the coloring. I simply colored the flowers with soft copic color and for the green flowers, since I don’t have a soft green copic, I used color pencil. Here’s the card.

So, what do you think? Which one you like better? I prefer the second card, myself.  🙂

Well, I hope you like today’s feature of Gwen In Blooms and thank you so much for stopping by here. Have a fabulous day everyone!
