Put on your DANCIN’ SHOES for another Friday Spotlight!

Put on your DANCIN’ SHOES for another Friday Spotlight!

Howdy, Odd friends!  Leah the Orange here, and I’m so excited to bring you another fabulous Odd project to ogle before we kiss this week goodbye!  Are you ready for the weekend?  Will you be doing any crafting this weekend?  How about getting in on our August Sketch Challenge?  There is still PLENTY of time left, we’ve had oodles of gorje new releases (with another one coming up on Monday!), and I heard it’s supposed to rain.  🙂  (Rain in the forecast for New Jersey – if it’s not raining where you are, just plan your weekend like it is, JUST IN CASE!)

So.  Speaking of challenges, this pretty little creation popped up in our challenge entries for this month, and seriously, I just love it and wanted you all to see it.  The dark paper is something I typically stay the heck away from, but this girl embraced it and used it BEAUTIFULLY!  Check out this fun card featuring Dancin’ Mae, by the talented Angie Ha!

Isn’t that glitter fantastic?  And who does Angie think she’s kiddin’, with all that fabulous orange?!  🙂  The quote is wonderful (and one by which I like to live every day!), and she even used a tutorial for coloring red hair that you can find HERE (by the talented Odd Girl, herself!)

This card is just what I needed for today’s Spotlight – something to pop right off the screen with that sensational contrast and those happy colors, and some Japanese words of wisdom.  Thank you, Angie, for doing a ROCKIN’ job with Dancin’ Mae and for sharing this card with us at Some Odd Girl!

Have a great weekend, peeps!  I hope it’s full of HAPPY!
