Friday Spotlight –

HAPPY FRIDAY, Odd friends!  Leah the Orange here, and I wanna know how your week has been!  Did Hurricane Sandy affect your part of the world?  Is all okay in your neck of the woods, or are you or people you know trying to recover from this devastation?  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who felt the impact of this crazy event, and we hope things are improving.

We’re hoping it’s going to be a lovely weekend, and in addition to giving you a reason to do some crafting (check yesterday’s Challenge post!), we’re giving you another little tidbit of inspiration, in the form of a SOGgy Spotlight!

I’m sharing this fantabulatious project by the talented Alba, who seems to have as much of a love for polka dots as I do…  But that’s not why I’m putting her in the spotlight this week!  You have to check out all this TOBIE goodness!  Look!

This one uses Kite Flyin’ Tobie, and I’m totally diggin’ that little picket fence and Alba‘s clouds!  CUTE!  But wait, there’s MORE!

He gets even MORE love!  Check out Popsicle Tobie, Snorkel Tobie, and Tobie and Buddie!  SUCH a fun little project!  Wouldn’t any little dude love that little lunchbox, and show it off to all of his little school friends?  Tobie is generally not featured on as many of our posts as someone like MAE, but Alba sure showed how versatile he is, and how he can be used on beautiful, bold and colorful projects like this handmade lunchbox!  Congrats on a VERY well-deserved SOGgy spotlight, Alba, and thank you for showing Tobie the luv!  Your creation is FABBY, and we lurrrve it!  🙂

And that’s going to kick things off for the weekend, so have a great Friday (or Saturday, for our international friends), and we’ll be back Monday with more SOGgy goodness and a new featured digi!

  1. Thats super sweet of u. My area got hit, but not as bad as some areas. Were dealing with the main issues no hot water and sometimes no water at all, power in 2 rooms (2 rooms is better then none),flooding in the basement, trees down, and no gas anywhere. The main thing is that my family is ok and our home is still standing.
My hearts and pray go out to all the families that were negatively affected by Sandy.

On the upside this project is so super cute. I love the lunch box.
