Our team greets you today, sharing their projects for the April Sketch Challenge, and as I share their inspiring creations, I’m going to introduce a few of them to you as well… Ready? Here’s the sketch!
And here they are, getting this party started…
My name is Mary Pat and I have been a paper crafter for over 12 years now. By day I am a high school teacher and by night I am a paper crafter! I started with scrapbooking and then gradually moved into other areas such as cardmaking and altered items. Within the last 2 years or so I moved into coloring and let’s just say I am totally addicted! I love pairing up a beautiful stamped image with fun coordinating paper- so much fun. I am married to a wonderful man who totally supports (and encourages) my paper addiction! I have 2 boys that keep me running! I am so honored to be a part of the Some Odd Girl Design Team!
My name is Leah Crowe, I am married to the sweetest guy on the planet. We’ve been together 17 years and married 11 now. We have 3 children that keep us in laughter with their antics and sassy-ness, if I had to guess they get that from me. I am a stay at home mom.. and I also watch my baby cousin in the afternoons during the week. I love coffee!! I’m am in my mid 30’s. I like talking about random stuff and potty humor cracks me up. I love that my birthday is just hours away from the 4th of July. I feel happy when my family are happy and smiling, or when I create a beautiful piece of art. I have been scrapbooking for around 7 years and enjoy the creative process. I have over 200 Copic markers and have been coloring now almost two years. I am thrilled to be on the SOG team for another term, it’s the best place on the planet!
Hiya everyone! My name is Corinne Reyes Mercado aka Rinne or Rinnester in Blogland. I’m super excited and elated to be in this Design Team! See, Some Odd Girl is my most favorite stamp company. I love love LOVE Kristy’s drawings of those big-eyed and large-calved girlies and her cute critter creations!! Not only that, but I consider myself unique and the older I get, the more proud I am of being different. So it’s truly a dream come true to be an Oddie!
I hail from California where I work as a pediatric registered nurse. I am married to my best friend and the love of my life (we’ll celebrate 5 years soon)! We have two sweet and rambunctious boys, Mattie and Oli. Aside from my stamping, I also am coming back to scrapbooking (my first crafting love). I am working on balancing it all- from family and work life to stamping and scrapbooking. Heck, why not incorporate stamping into scrapping? I have many other hobbies that include watching movies, photography, shopping, and traveling. And did I mention I love SOG?
Looking forward to having lots of fun with ya! Am so humbled to be amongst this awesome and talented DT!
Nice to meet ya, peeps! 🙂 –Rinne
Hello everyone! My name is Judy Bagwell. I live in Alabama and I am a crafty stay at home mom. The hubs and I have two fun kiddos and two silly dogs. I love Halloween and I am crazy about all things Disney. I like to draw, sew, crochet, decorate cakes/cookies, scrapbook and make cards. When I am not doing mom stuff or crafting, I enjoy browsing around in antique shops and going to the movies. I got my first Some Odd Girl clear stamps for Christmas in 2011 and soon after that I was hooked on the digital stamps too. I’m not sure I could pick a favorite image because I truly love them all. I am super excited to be an Odd Girl and honored to have the opportunity to work with this amazing team.
Hi, I’m Tabbatha. I am originally from Colorado, but have immigrated to Sweden 5 years ago. I live with my partner and our two gorgeous cats. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Landscape Analysis, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. This means I get to create lots of maps and see how the landscape affects us. I also have a background in archaeology. On top of all that I do web design on the side.
I started seriously cardmaking about a year ago and haven’t looked back! I made my first SOG card back in October and have become seriously addicted. Besides making cards, I absolutely love to get inky and play in my art journal. I have a very eclectic style, but mostly a more clean and simple look, however I do enjoy exploring new styles. I get lots of inspiration from other people, but it always turns out to be very “Tabbatha style” in the end. 😀
I’m really looking forward to this term! I hope to uphold the standard that comes from the SOG DT, as well as hopefully inspire some new Oddies out there!
