September challenge winners, and a very fond farewell…

Welcome back, Oddies!  Lots going down here, so expect a slew of posts over the next few days so we can get all caught up and launch into a brand new term, beginning TOMORROW!  So exciting, yet bittersweet.

While we get ready to introduce the team of Odd Girls for our October-March term, we are bidding some very lovely ladies farewell, and I want to take a moment to give them the big send-off they deserve.

Odd Girls
, this has been an AMAZING term.  We have seen some big changes, and we have seen Some Odd Girl grow into something we never imagined when we started this adventure.  Your enthusiasm, your dedication (to your craft, and to Some Odd Girl), your ingenuity, your patience, your cooperation, your spirit…  ALL of these things have contributed to the success of Some Odd Girl thus far, and have helped us to keep moving forward and looking to the future.  Without your contributions to this team, we might not have had the guts or the incentive to shoot for BIGGER goals.  We are so pleased that you CHOSE to be with us for your term(s), and we are forever HUMBLED by the support from you and all of our crafty friends.  Dear amazing, talented, brilliant and fabulous Odd Girls, THANK YOU for all you have done to keep us moving along this path toward…  WHEREVER!  The world is our oyster, and yours, too!  You have been instrumental in this ongoing adventure, and the role you have played will always be appreciated.  May your crafting journey continue to lead you in exciting new directions, and may you always keep the Odd spirit alive in your hearts and craftrooms.  🙂

We love you, and we thank you, and we are SURELY going to miss the ess out of you!  You are FOREVER Odd!

So now that I’m all emotional and feeling melancholy as we end this term, let’s end this POST on a positive note, shall we?  (Not that the above is not positive, because it certainly is!)

Thanks to all who played along with our September challenge!  We had 32 entries, and it was SO much fun to wander around visiting everyone’s blogs for details!  Lemme tell ya, I am inspired!  Thank you all, for playing along and for sharing the SOGgy lurve!

Our randomly selected winner, who gets 3 digis of their choice from the Some Odd Girl shop, is this crafter:

emanuela win

Congrats, Emanuela!  Your Hey Mae (clear) card is absolutely GORGEOUS and pops right off the screen!  I love the colors, and those fabulous flowers, and the stitching, and, well, I just love the whole flippin’ thing!

Next up, our fave!  Feast your eyes on THIS gorgeous creation:

angie fave

SERIOUSLY!  Angie Baechi, you WOWED me with this beautiful monochromatic creation.  The muted browns and gorgeous depth you created with the deep shadows really brings Boy’s Best Friend Tobie (digi) to life!  The paper is just perfect, and the simple embellishments just let your eye focus on the image.  STUNNING!

Ladies, congrats on your wins, and thank you SO much for sharing your projects with us!  Please email your digital and clear selections to and we hope you’ll show us what you make with your new stamps!

We’ll be back tomorrow with a HUGE day.  Not only are we introducing your 2013/14 Odd Girls, but we have a NEW kind of challenge we think you’re gonna love!  See you then!
