Katie shares a super fun and simple CHALKBOARD technique!

Hiya crafty peeps!  Katie Perry here to share a little project showcasing some Some Odd Girl goodness in the chalkboard trend that is so popular right now.  I saw these super cool chalkboard plaques and inspiration hit- how awesome would it be to use these for some placeholders for a special dinner?  I knew I wanted to use the pumpkin from the Fall Friends (clear) set but then I had to figure out how the heck I was going to get my stamped image onto the chalkboard and be able to color it!

After some looking around in the little chalkboard area at a local arts and crafts store I noticed these Chalk Markers- I did some testing on some old clear stamps I had to make sure it wasn’t going to ruin my stamps and guess what- it worked perfectly…and, bonus, it wipes off with water so you can change these out for any occasion!  Well, I’ll stop boring you with all my blathering so you can watch things in action 🙂
