And nothing else! Yep, Leah here to share a totally flippin’ FUN project I put together when the idea hit me like a ton of bricks. It’s no secret that we love playing with fonts and sentiments around here, so I wanted to create a repeated pattern that was different than my usual approach. I like random and haphazard, but this time it was all about geometrics and equal spacing.
At first I was worried it might be TOO busy with the words on top of the texty patterned paper, but I loved how it just added interest but the tiny words didn’t interfere with the stamped sentiments. And the neons worked great with the trendy grey and black and quatrefoil pattern at the bottom – WOOT! Added a little wood veneer heart and a teeny little enamel heart and I was pleased as punch!
My own little background with a fun combination of sentiments, and I can customize for ANYBODY. A friend, a sweetheart, a relative, co-worker, a kiddo… Heck, even a next door neighbor! 😀
Et voila! It was REALLY easy and the shape of the banner made it a breeze to get perfect alignment, so I can totally see myself revisiting this technique in the future!
That’s it for today, Odd friends! Happy Hump Day to you, and join us tomorrow with a slightly early spotlight and the winner and fave from our October OMBRE challenge! Our next challenge starts FRIDAY! Holy cow!
