Vellum Luminary Tutorial

Vellum Luminary Tutorial

Good morning crafty Odd friends!  It’s Isha here with you today and I’ve got a Holiday Home Decor tutorial for  you! This candle luminary is what we are going to create today with some simple steps.

SOG_Candle

First, Stamp your image on Vellum using StazOn ink. Now here I created mask but forgot to take photo of it. You just stamp a gift box, cover it with the mask and stamp again near to the last image. Since you masked the old image, the new stamped image wont come over it and that gives the feel of dimension.

Now turn the Vellum and colored it from the back using Memento Markers.

It looks likes this from the front, once you turn it over after its dried.

Once the coloring is done, turn over the Vellum piece and stamp some stars on the front using StazOn metallic ink. Since Vellum is non-porous, you just have to be a bit careful while stamping. Just put your stamp straight down and take it up. Don’t wiggle it at all.

It doesn’t take StazOn much time to dry on Vellum. Once it’s dry, just take some Shimmer Spritz Sparkle onto your craft mat and apply onto the ribbon of the gift, using a brush. It gives such a nice and subtle shimmer to your project.

Finally, here is the Vellum Luminary once again and it looks really pretty, shimmery in real life.
