Morning, Odd friends! It’s Friday, and it’s Leah here with you to greet the weekend with a smile! Hope the week has been kind to all of you, and that the days ahead are full of fun, or relaxation, or both! 😀
Today, I have a super SWEET spotlight to share on a couple of stunners that were posted in our new Facebook community. Have you joined us there yet? It’s HOPPIN’, people! Seriously – so many great topics and amazing projects being shared… I could spend all day just checking out all the goings on!
Well holy wowza, I hope you’re ready for these! Let’s get to it!
Our first project is from Laurel Pierce…
Kinda SERIOUSLY loving the details here. The zentangles make a great background for our Electric Love (currently unavailable) stamp, right?! And the doodly border with the sentiment blending in – PERFECT! Heck, it looks like the entire panel is MADE like that, as if it was just one stamp, and she colored just the lightbulb. BUT NO. This girl put a LOT of love into this sweet card, and while it’s a small section for a zentangle with just 6 areas, it takes some real time and attention. THANK YOU, Laurel, for sharing this beauty with us! When I saw it in the group, I couldn’t wait to add you to my spotlight post!
Next up, a fabulous scene comprised of just two different digis… But oh, what an impact JUST TWO DIGIS can have! Look at this project from Janine Vegter:
Janine is no stranger to Some Odd Girl stamps, and she has definitely nailed her personal touches. We love when she shares new projects with us, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE how she merged the Flower digi (x3) with the Flower Fairy digi, and turned them into one gorgeous scene that, again, LOOKS like it was made that way! What a fantastic knack for combining images to create something beautiful! Thank you so much for always showing the SOGgy love, Janine. We love what you do with our stamps!
So now we start the weekend. What are your plans? Drop by our Facebook community and say hello and see more inspiring stuff like the projects I’ve shared today! And hurry up and SUBSCRIBE to our newsletter… You never know when something TOTALLY exclusive might pop up in there (and if you miss it, you miss it!). 😉 See you on Monday!
