Hi there Oddlets!
It’s Linda here, and I’m really happy to be here today with my first Design Team Inspiration post!
One of the things I love most about being a crafter (besides the amazing community of talented people–check out our Facebook Group if you like the sound of that!), is that we can create personalized, one-of-a-kind items for people.
This year is the first year I’ve had two of my daughters in school, and I thought it would be fun to create some little Easter gifts for their teachers.
These were so fun and simple to make–so simple in fact, I’m considering making something similar for the girls’ schoolfriends too!
To create these, I die cut some panels of X-press It blending card, using a nestabilities die.
Next I stamped the images and sentiments from the Hip Hop Hooray clear stamps set.
I copic-colored them, going for different colored bunnies (always fun to change things up I think!)
Then I took each panel, scored it about 1/3 of the way down from the top (a little higher maybe), and then creased the fold in. I then lightly adhered them on to the gift bags, before securing them down with some added twine from the Some Odd Girl shop. I used Orange Bakers Twine, Green and Pink Bamboo Twine
Here is a closer look at them
So cute, right?!
I hope I’ve inspired you to create some fun, personalized Easter gifts or gift bags!
