Good morning, Oddies, and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
Leah here, and besides thanking you all for your continued support of Some Odd Girl, I want to let you know that we have some BIG things in the works (seriously, they’re huge, and we can’t wait to let the cat outta the bag!) while we plan for the fall and CHA and more growth! Thank you, so very much, for fueling our growth and the success of Some Odd Girl, that all started out with one little Kaylee drawing.
What was YOUR first Some Odd Girl stamp? What drew you to it?
Do you remember the original Kaylees? I’ve been thinking of sharing this for a while, and today’s the day! Let’s have a little spotlight on the evolution of our girls, shall we?
Check out an early version of Kaylee:

And an earlier Mae, one of our very first clear sets (still in the shop!):

And one of my favorite Maes ever!

Lastly, our gals together, enjoying a cuppa:

So there it is.
We’ve retired some of these oldies but goodies, but they will forever live in our hearts as the pioneers of the Some Odd Girl family. I still love their big, round faces and simple features, and exaggerated legs (like a fashion drawing!), and I still revisit them from time to time in my digi collection!
A look back at our original girls, Kaylee and Mae, besties forever! They’ve come a long way, and they have much to look forward to in the coming months! Stay tuned, Oddies, it’s going to be exciting and we have LOTS of fun things planned when it comes time to reveal our big secrets!
Until then, STAY ODD! Happy crafting, and have a fantastic weekend!
We’ll see you Monday with a brand new Movie Monday feature!
