Melissa here today with a little Halloween decor. I’m thinking ahead to October 31st!
While snooping around in a big box craft store I discovered these little hinged, wooden coffins. I tossed a couple in my cart figuring they might come in handy. I love Halloween, all the fun whimsical stuff, I can’t get enough. I always look forward to dragging out my Halloween papers and embellishments (I have a ginormous tub of them) and my home decorations as well.
The coffin was a light pine wood color and I wanted to darken it up. My thought was to make it look like it was in the ground so I was going for a grimy look. I used my Copic air brush system (love-hate relationship with that) and used C10, and E49 to dirty it up. I wanted it to look patchy, which is good since that seems to be the thing I do best with the air brush system. (!!!)
We’re often discussing ways to use things and new ideas for tools in our Some Odd Girl Facebook community, so maybe you’ve got some ideas to share about your Copic Air Brush system? We’d love to hear them!
I used one of my favorite zombies, our Zombie Mae digi stamp and colored her up with Copics Markers. I think she is Boo-tiful, what do you think?
