New digis and the return of our Guest Odd Girl!

Phew.  Alexis here, and do we have a doozy of a Digi release for you guys today?!

We have two new digis (Bandit Wizard & T-Rex) a card cut file (Forest Fold Card) and a bundle of Loopy Sentiments V3 all being released today!  Do you feel like it’s your birthday or what?!

In addition to all this glorious Some Odd Girl release time fun, we’re back with our October Guest Odd Girl, Elle Lindgren.  She’s been rocking our new digis already this month, and she took on the illustrious honor of working with the Bandit Wizard digi stamp and made it magical!  Here is what Elle had to say about this cute new digi:

One of the things I love to challenge myself with is using stamps in a slightly different way. It’s a fantastic creative exercise, and I love how it makes me look at my stamps in a whole new light.

The Bandit Wizard digi stamp makes for an excellent Halloween digi, but the first thought that popped into my head was a song – “I Put a Spell On You” to be exact.  And that made me want to make a love/anniversary card.

I colored in the Bandit Wizard with dark grays, adding a bit of texture here and there to make him extra fluffy.  I cut around him with scissors.  I grabbed a Valentine paper pad that had bright and bold colors, and cut a couple of simple rectangles.  I adhered them straight onto the card, then added the Bandit Wizard with some foam squares.

For the sentiment, I decided to use some letter stickers I had floating around.  I added them to a simple cream rectangle, making sure they weren’t straight at all.  I think that adds a more whimsical and maybe even a spooky touch.

Inside of the card, I made a simple panel from cream cardstock.  I stamped the sweet heart raccoon from the Love Bandit clear stamp set, and hand-wrote the rest of the song lyrics.”

So much fun, Elle!  I love the amount of fluff she got out of that fur and I just adore the bright pop of red inside the card!  So happy she chose this combo!  And what a perfect way to combine digi stamps with clear stamps!  To see more of the Bandit Wizard digi stamp and some of the projects featuring the other new digis from today, check out these Odd Girls’ blogs:
