Sweet Spooky Halloween Tags

Hello, Oddies! Suzanne here with a couple of sweet spooky Halloween tags to share with you as the Odd Girls continue our week of Fall and Halloween inspiration!

Have you made it through all of the blogs in our “Trick or Treat with the Odd Girls” hop yet?

You’ll want to make sure that you visit all of the blogs and leave a comment at each one! And any tricks you’ll find are still sweet, because we’re sharing some of our favorite paper crafting tricks (and tips)!

And, of course, there are TREATS…located at random Odd Girls’ blogs.  We have some clear stamps, some Odds & Ends, some digi stamps and TONS of sweet spooky inspiration for you! You won’t know what the treats are unless you hop along with us!

For my projects in today’s post, I chose the “Vampiress digi stamp” and “Pumpkin Kody digi stamp” and gave each tag a different style: one spooky and one sweet!

I have a trick to share with you today! You can change the look of your wood veneer accents with ink and embossing powder! I changed the look of this wood veneer bat by inking it with black pigment ink, then heat embossing it with some black embossing powder. (You’ll want to use tweezers to hold it when you’re heat embossing so you don’t burn your hand!)

To get started on the hop, click HERE for Monday’s kickoff post! You have until October 31st at midnight Eastern to visit each blog and leave a comment, because the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win a treat!  Friday night at midnight Eastern is your deadline, for hopping AND for taking advantage of our spooky sweet sale!  😀  Our hop winners will be announced back here on the Some Odd Girl blog on Monday, November 3rd

You might be familiar with our monthly Linky Parties and know that Some Odd Girl is on Pinterest, but did you know that we have a special board just for Oddies like YOU to pin to? You can find the board HERE, and visit this pin for the details on how you can be part of the board!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you’re not getting a cavity from all of the SWEET SPOOKY inspiration you’ve seen so far this week!

  1. I love this Trick thing that you have going. Chances are that at some point down the line I might have thought of embossing the wood pieces, but that would have been a few months to a year down the line. I can’t wait to try it now, maybe for the next card that I make?!
