JoAnn here, and I’ve got a super fun Advent Calendar inspiration project to share with you today!
Ok, so I know we’ve got a *little* time before the holidays start, but if you’re anything like me, you have a TON of creative ideas to make Christmas special, but when it really comes down to it, you’re just too busy to get ANYTHING done! Raise your hand if you feel me on this!
So, what better way to kick off the holidays than with a super fun and easy project like this Advent Calendar right here?
My Advent calendar today features paper from the awesome Sunshine Sorbet paper pad (you only need a few sheets!), some fabulous Sorbet Sequins, sentiments and stamp bits from the clear sets: Gifty Gwen, HollyDay Gwen, and Tree Trimming Kaylee! I also added some number stickers, punched some shapes out to give some interest, and added some twine.
I’m also a HUGE fan of non-traditional Christmas colors, so I thought the Sunshine Sorbet paper pad was perfect! I’m totally in love with pinks and turquoise for Christmas colors. Who says the holidays have to be about red and green?!
Each day features a card in a pocket where I’ll write fun little tasks we can do as a family, like check out the Christmas lights in our neighborhood, bake Christmas cookies, wrap presents, etc. I’m still thinking of ideas, so if you have any, throw them my way!
I hope you like my inspiration project for this week! For more detail, check out my blog post here. I hope you take a chance and create your own advent calendar using Some Odd Girl product – we would LOVE to see what you create!
