Homemade snowglobe with Tia!

Homemade snowglobe with Tia!

Hi everyone!  It’s DAY 4!  Our Hol-ODD-Day Hop continues!

Linda here with a fun project today, that I got the idea for, off Pinterest!  I’ve seen lots of homemade snowglobe ideas and always wanted to give it a try!

So I colored in my little elfy Warm Wishes Tia clear stamp (currently sold out, but you could use this cute Deck the Halls Tobie clear stamp, or any character really!), then fussy cut her out before coating her in a THICK coat of glossy accents, on both sides, to seal the image.  I could probably have used something like Multi Matte Medium or another sealant, but I liked that the Glossy Accents would give her a nice shiny appearance within the water.

Next I added some distilled water (you can use cooled, boiled water too), a few drops of Glycerine, and some glitter, that’s it!  I love how pretty she looks when it’s all shaken up and the glitter is floating around my homemade snowglobe.  SO fun!

I might go back in and paint some snowbanks around the outside of the jar, so she looks even more wintry.

Well, thanks for joining me for this stop on the Hol-ODD-day Hop!  Have you ever made a homemade snowglobe?  We’d love to see it!
