Nostalgic with Nouveau Girls

Nostalgic with Nouveau Girls

Hi there, Oddies!

Leah here on a crazy MILD and nostalgic Monday morning in December, and we’ve got a couple of things going on…

First of all, DECEMBER!  That means there’s a brand new Linky Party kicking off RIGHT NOW, so be sure to link up ANYTHING you create this month using Some Odd Girl stamps, and remember to link back to us (either the blog or the shop!), and you’ll be in the running for our spotlight features!  Every spotlighted project wins a free digi from the Some Odd Girl store!

Second, we usually have a clear stamp release to share, but there’s a bit of a delay with our manufacturer, so we’ll keep you posted on this.  There are, however, some AWESOME things going on this month, including our annual Hol-ODD-Day Hop, which is right around the corner!  We already have lots of fun things up our sleeves, so I know there will be plenty of inspiration for you (and, heck, for ME, too!)…

Third, I’m waxing nostalgic today with a holiday card I made that includes one of the accent stamps from a clear set, but you haven’t heard from this young lady in a long time…  Remember our Nouveau Girls line?  Well our Bliss Nouveau Girls clear stamp set makes a comeback in my non-traditionally colored Christmas card here:

I got WAY into this purple and cream combination last year and had some extra cuts I wanted to use.  Second, I wanted to color, but didn’t have time to rock a whole character, so I went for a little CAS action with this floral accent stamp and got all swoony and nostalgic over my Nouveau Girls again.  What do you think?

Have you busted out your Nouveau Girls stamps lately?  Those of you who have them, I am hereby challenging you to USE THEM!  Show me a NEW Nouveau Girls creation by linking below by December 15th and one randomly chosen winner will get a sweet little surprise from the Some Odd Girl store I see a stamp set, some sequins and some twine in your future!

So bust out those stamps, wax nostalgic with me, dust them off, and show me whatcha got!  We’ll be back tomorrow with some more holiday fun!
