Hey Oddies! Kristy with you bringing the early week inspiration.
You know all those cute “accessory” stamps you get with our clear sets? Even the most unlikely ones can make a fun background…
I used the carrots from the Hip Hop Hooray stamp set, like the one the happy bunny is holding, and some gold ink to stamp a background that plays up the sentiment.
It’s a bit CAS but has plenty of bling!
It might take a bit of practice to stamp a background like this, I eyeball it by lining up certain spots on the stamp and just plug along. Its easy, fun and gives some great results that make even more use of your stamp sets.
Tip: start stamping in the corner of your paper and continue outwards. Stamp off the page to avoid that boxed-in look!
I hope this gets you in your craft room checking out those extras and putting them to good use! Grab our Hip Hop Hooray clear stamp set and start your Easter cars (ridiculously) early. 😉 We have sets that co-star flowers, hearts, gears, basic geometric shapes… ALL of which are fun to play with when creating backgrounds!
See you tomorrow! You know what tomorrow is, right?
