Hey there! Tabbatha here again! Seriously, I’ve had one busy April and I’m still going. 😀 I’m back with another Inspiration post for you.
This time I’m keeping it simple and just enjoying the little things in life that make me happy….like Kaylee’s Close Wardrobe!
This time of year always brings out the green in me. 😉 I might have allergies, but I do love me some GREEN, which was totally fueled by Kristy’s March Color Prompt. Although I went a bit darker, I just couldn’t resist getting my coloring on – yeah, yeah, I know. A month late! 🙂
I had this bright idea to create a card just so I could color a Kaylee (I hadn’t decided which one) in a gorgeous green tone. Lucky for me, I found some really gorgeous papers to make this cute layout.
One of the things I love most about coloring Some Odd Girl stamps is the ability to add in cute details like the nose. It truly is the little things in life that make it worth living – like a cute button nose. 😀 I know it sounds so silly, but really it is super easy!
Top tip: trace in the nose first with your second or third to darkest color. Start with a small circle for the tip of the nose then draw a curved line from the circle up to the eyebrow. Get all that shading in there, then after you are happy with the rest of the skin, go back with your darkest shade to add that defined nose bridge.
Now there is a little food for thought. Just remember that we absolutely LOVE to see your coloring and your progress, so share it with us in the Some Odd Girl Community on Facebook! Oh, and I might get in trouble for saying this, but there is some BIG news coming your way soon so you better sign up for that Newsletter so you don’t miss it!
