Good morning, Odd friends!

Anna Sigga here today and I am loving all things watercolor at the moment so I am going to share my latest obsession with you!

When it comes to water coloring I am no expert but I wanted to show you how two different kinds of watercolor mediums can look on the fab Some Odd Girl stamps.

The mediums I am using here are the Tim Holtz Distress markers & ink pads, and the Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils.  Remember to stamp the images with permanent ink like StazOn, Ranger Archival ink or VersaFine so they don’t bleed!  I used the Tim Holtz markers/ink on this beautiful mermaid from the Under the Sea clear stamp set.  I love how soft and dreamy she looks using this medium and when she was all dry I added tiny dots to her tail for added texture.

Lets talk Inktense pencils now – I absolutely love these pencils.  They are so vibrant and even with only 24 pencils I am able to achieve several different color combos.  The best part about these pencils is that they are permanent when dry, so when I add my Wink of Stella glitter brush to the image it doesn’t bleed!  🙂

I just love how that lil’ toaster from the Breakfast Friends clear stamp set looks all shiny and that little seahorse from the Under the Sea Mae clear set looks adorable all sparkly.

Plus Hipster Kody (clear stamp set) looks extra hip with his shiny glasses, don’t you think?  I was actually thinking about adding a  bit of glitter to his outfit, but he just wouldn’t have it!
