Katie coming at you today with a little bit of inspiration! When I started crafting, way back in the day (lol), I was waaaaay scared of traditional stamping. So when I found digital stamps I was ecstatic- now I could stamp and color away and the images would come out perfect every time! But what I found I loved the most about digital stamps wasn’t just that they always looked great- but actually that I had so much other freedom with them. I could make them any size I wanted, flip them around so they faced the way that worked best on my card and it was so easy.
Now, when I feel like I’ve gotten in a rut with my card making, I go back to those simple little tools and change the way I see an image.
Here I used Tiger Piper– who is a blast to color up- and blew her up really big. All of a sudden I didn’t need the full image to be on the card- I could take just a portion and suddenly it takes on new life 🙂
I hope this pushes you to think outside the box when it comes to your digi images! We Odd Girls love to zoom in with our digis (and with our clear stamps, too!)… Try using them super big or extra small and see what new creativity you find 🙂 Be sure to share with us on all our social media like our SOG Facebook Community, Instagram, Pinterest and in our Linky Party in the sidebar when you experiment! We get inspiration from you every day!
