Decorate it, Journal it, Dream it, Plan it!

Hello Some Odd Girl Fans!

Kimberly Wiener here!

Planners are the rage!  Groups popping up, meeting, and getting themselves organized in a fun and creative way.  January is definitely the time to set some goals!  This year I decided to create with my Heidi Swapp hello album.  I loved the watercolor cover and sweet silvery accents.

The FUN factor increases since there are all kinds of planner additions like clear pocket pages for photos, tabbed inserts and also additional journaling strips. Enamel embellishments, various stickers, rainbow assortments of washi tapes, tassels and designer papers will let you customize your planer with wild abandon.  On this journal strip I have jotted down a few things that are awesome and that I am thankful for.

Adding my Some Odd Girl images is extremely fun and makes me smile!  This planner has 2×2 inch square photo frames that I have added some current CHA images and also resized photos of my Some Odd Girl creations.  I used a 2×2 punch to accurately size them.

When I was at the CHA convention this January, I visited a few new planner organizers on display.  The Webster pages planners are so lovely.  “The Scrappy Jedi” has kindly taken wonderful pictures of the CHA displays of papers and planners.  To check out some of the LOVELY  NEW in trend Winter Paper Collections. (HERE).  For the lovely NEW planners check out this post (HERE).  If you want an entire [AMAZING] overview of NEW CHA papers, stamps, stickers etc.  I suggest reading all of the January posts of Scrappy Jedi’s.

Index pages are perfect to “make pretty” if you keep most of your main pages more task oriented than embellished.

Some Odd Girl has so many cute and whimsical images. I adore this sweet Feathered Friends digital stamp and had to add these sweet pals on one of the index pages.  Click on the image to be taken to grab your own!  Here are a few of my FAVES!
