Happy Wednesday Some Odd Girl friends!
I colored up the Digi Stamp Tunes Tia on Kraft cardstock using Prismacolor Pencils.
To start making this background for Tunes Tia, I distressed the edges of the Kraft card stock.
Using some watercolors I got from the craft store, I used a water brush and some yellow to color all the background around Tunes Tia.
As you can see, the paper is starting to warp a little bit considering its not watercolor paper, but just grab a paper towel and dab off the excess water from time to time. You can also adjust how much paint by dabbing the paper towel onto the card stock to pick up color.
I start adding in pinks. I also add in some drops of color with my watercolor brush.
Then some blues.
The fun thing about the watercolor is you can treat it a bit like mixed media.
I added in a cute rub on atop the background once it dried.
There you have it. An adorable watercolor background that took about 5 minutes to create.
Have a wonderful week my friends, and check out our current challenge for April.
