September marks the first month in almost 5 years that Some Odd Girl is continuing without the talented Anna Sigga. Anna has been a fixture here and her creativity will be certainly missed. Below is a tribute to Anna by some of our current Odd Girls who have lifted some of their favorite Anna creations.
While we will all miss the gorgeous creations Anna brought to us over and over again the past 5 years, what I will miss most is Anna herself. I’ll keep from getting too mushy but she is one of the most hard working, humble, sweet, and amazing people I have the honor of calling a friend. I hope she knows that I send her all the love in the world to her next creative endeavor. If you are lucky enough to have her on or be on a design team with her then you know just what I mean.
Ok, I did get a lil mushy but still.
Alrighty, let’s see what creations of Anna’s the Odd Girl’s have lifted in tribute to this amazing designer…
Patti loved the sweet soft flowers Anna used to compliment the pretty ” Ladybug Tia“
Anna a lot of the time likes to use doilies so Patti knew this was a must on her project as well.
Christa chose this tag by Anna with Angel Mae
The beautiful layout Anna has made, the layers, doilies, and the gems, so beautiful a design.
A perfectly CAS design, Sadia kept the image focusing layout that Anna was known for.
Such flowers are an Anna hallmark and draw the eye in as Lynda demonstrates on her lift with Fairy Magic.
Nicoletta kept the heart of Anna’s design and brought in Snow White, keeping the critter flair.
Staying true to the fancy flair, Therese really brought her touch to Anna’s design.
The Girls had a real tough time picking one of Anna’s creations to lift for this tribute, and it just goes to show how much pure AWESOME she brought to us.
I’d like to put out a personal challenge for all of you… take a trip of your own to Anna’s blog and find your own favorite to lift. You can share it with us in our Community or on Instagram, we’d really love to see it!
And since I know she’ll read this, girl, we all love you to bits! Stay Odd!
