Hello, oddies! Made By Fairy Sky today and I’m happy to meet you again!
I’m coming to share with you a card with one of those fabulous mermaids that Kristy drew, I honestly fell in love! I’m going to tell you a secret, I’ve been a big fan of Ariel since my earliest childhood, the little mermaid from Disney!
So when I saw this mermaid, I immediately thought of her and it was impossible for me not to give you inspiration with it, and it will surely not be the last one believe me!
For the realization of this card, I did not put any pressure at all LOL! Between my passion for Ariel and my desire for watercolor, I decided to start again in learning this technique. I love and I still need to improve but personally, I love the rendering, mainly this effect on the hair!
What do you think ? Do you like watercolor too? This month’s sirens are perfect for working this technique!
For watercolor, I used my Tombo pens, a simple brush with water and watercolor paper of course! No need for much equipment for this technique is its advantage and that’s perfect for CAS cards!
Here is my card. Most of the work was watercolor and cutting that was thorough! But the result is worth it! To add movement to my card I simply cut out my decorated tracing paper and added some white pearls on my glittery background.
