Hi Oddies! It’s Susanne here again, still stuck on May. And that’s because I’ve still got som mermaid love coming your way. I think this one is my favorite mermaid from the last month releases, Dancer Mermaid.

Here I’ve colored her with my Polychromos pencils. I wanted her somewhat monochromatic so I went with my flesh-colors. It made here fairly mysterious, didn’t it?

I also twisted her a bit from the original, she looked better this way on my tag. The background is made with a stencil, paper texture paste and some acrylic paint. And some cheesecloth and thread.

Have a lovely June (or second May)! hugs Susanne

Angela back with my final blog post here.  I absolutely loved being part of the Some Odd Girl community.

Today I share Rocker Mae.

I recently found a box full of old 45’s going through my grandpa’s stuff and decided it would work so perfect for some crafting.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers:

Skin:  CR2, FS5, FS1, FS2, FS8
Pinks: BP1, BP3, BP5
Greens- LG1, LG3, LG5
Pants: TB1, TB3, TB5
Blues: BT5, BT3 (bracelet)
Hair: TN1, TN3, BP1
Eyes: TB1, TB3
Greys/Black:  IG1, IG3, IG5, IG8

I typed out a sentiment and cut out.   I inked the edges with Spectrum Noir- Parakeet and Spring Meadow Water Reactive dye ink.

I cut some circles from the Simon Says Stamp Large circle die set, and added some flowers from my stash.

Thank you for accompanying me on this journey.   I will definitely still be around in the Some Odd Girl Community.   – See you soon!
