Hello Lovely Oddies!

I am back with my second boy themed project this week. I couldn’t resist colouring up Pirate Tobie!

He was one of the most fun colouring projects I have done in a while!  I actually remembered to write down my colour combos for all you lovely oddies and thought I would share them with you!

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, Eo4 tongue: Ro2

Hair: E27, E35, E59

Yellow/ Gold: Y00, Y15, Y19, E99

Red: R14, R08, R46, R39

Black: C5, C9, 100 (I went over the C5 with C9 on the hat to darken it up and on the vest)

Brown Pants: E42, E43, E44, E77

Peg Leg/ brown part of the vest: E35, E27

Sword and Hook: I added Versamarker to them and then added  Zings Pewter embossing powder to make them super shiny and metallic looking.

I hope to start adding more colour combos on here when I can. I cannot tell you how many times I appreciated colourists sharing their colour combos on their blogs… It saves me a lot of time when trying to find what colours go well together.

I loved adding the little pirate flag and anchor to the black and white twine… This was really going out of my comfort zone because I do not normally use twine (due to it unraveling on me or making things warp.)

I then added some silver star brads (sorry they look black in photos) to add some more silver to the project and then I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.

Hope you like this one as much as I do! I love when projects come together how I imagined.

Lots of hugs sweeties!

Hi Oddies,

Today I have a baby gift to show.
My son’s schoolmistress has give birth to a baby boy called Mees.
So my son said to me, “Mommy would you like to make something for Nienke”, his schoolmistress.
Of course I did and this is the result.
Cute or not 😉

I use the two cutest digital baby’s of Some Odd Girl .
On the bag I use TINY BABY BOTTLE and on the tag  CRAWLY BABY
Colored them both with the Tansai Gambi water colors.

I use many layers of papers and added in some beautiful lace .
On the heart is a little stork , and a little duck charm, that has cute feathers attached to it.

The tag is on a plastic bag which is holding some little Mickey baby socks.

I love to use little charms and buttons for baby projects because they look so funny .

I hope you love my baby project and don’t forget our current Challenge with the theme ‘Back to School’.
Have a nice day , hugs,
Christa
