Hey Oddies! Its the end of February and today we are reviewing all the new digis that came out this month! I know you’ve been watching the shop for when they are released but just in case I wanted to give you a round up and some extra inspiration from our lovely Odd Girls. There’s some pretty amazing stuff below so let me get started…

We aren’t going in any particular order so I want to kick off our review with a digi you might call “out of this world”, Space Cadet Tia!

Next up was the special image from our Valentine’s Day Blog Hop but is available to love at any time of the year, and you can tell she does… Big Kiss Kody & Mae!

The next group of digis are pretty special. This year for our big 8th year we brought a new member into the Odd Family, Dakota! She’s fierce and you’ll definitely be seeing more from her in March. Right at the beginning of Feb though we released 3 digi stamps to welcome Dakota.

First up is the digi stamp, Lounging Dakota!

The second digi stamp of Dakota is really making me want long hair again. With a kickin studded jacket we have Badass Dakota!

Anna Sigga

Patti

Our third digi stamp with Dakota was also great for the “love”ly theme of February but I’m pretty sure you can find a ton of ways to use Swoon Dakota!

I think we’ve had a pretty good month, what do you think? I’m pretty dang proud of my Girls. Our new team members have a full month under their belt and settling in nicely.

If you have used any of these new digis and want to share it in the comments below I’m inviting you to show us! Let’s add to this review with your wonderful creations.

Just a heads up, today is the last day to join in our challenge and we’ll be back here tomorrow with a new one for March. I can’t wait to show you what’s in store.

Good morning, Oddies! Alexis here with a simple card that I made using Curtsy Gwen digi stamp. Have you ever just felt really good about your coloring on an image? That’s how I felt after coloring this stamp, so I wanted to keep the card fairly simple because I wanted the focus mainly on the image and the coloring of those intricate dress folds that were so much fun! I love those kinds of details in an image and I think when you spend so much time coloring a stamp, you don’t want to over complicate the card around it.

I used a sentiment from a retired Some Odd Girl clear set, which seemed super appropriate for this image and will work great for a Birthday, Thank You or Love card. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum and adhered it over part of my image, so that you could still see my coloring, but it would add some interest to the card overall. A few sequins and blamo! Cute card fit for royalty. Or at least a friend or family member you like a lot.
