Kettle Love Card

Hello Oddies! Tabbatha here for a friendly reminder, as well as a little inspiration, for this month’s Challenge! We are half way through the month, but you have until 28 February to link up and join us! You can find the original post & linky HERE

For my inspiration, I used the lovely Tea Pot Digi stamp x2. 🙂 I’m a fan of all things coffee/tea related so I’ve been wanting to make something with the image. To be honest these look like the old peculator that I mom had while we went camping, so a bit of nostalgia came to mind while making this.

For my twist, I used sequins and love (in the shape of heart sequins and pearls). To incorporate the twist with my Tea Pots, I created a super fast shaker card! They are just so easy and fun to make. Perfect for any occasion, plus they let you use up your sequin stash. Those gold sequins there are old – like really old!

Did, I mention how cute the Tea Pots came out? Seriously, the image is a blast to color up, and I got to do it twice. 😀 The deep red of my R Copics reminds me of the shiny red Kitchenware sets.

You have until 28 February to play along, so get out your gorgeous Some Odd Girl images all colored up and join us.

‘Anything ODD Goes’ with a TWIST – sequins, glitter or Love.

Good morning, Oddies! Alexis here with a fun card using the new Hipster Photography Cat. Being Valentine’s Day, today is all about love, but that doesn’t have to mean romantic up in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G kind of love. It can be any kind of love. For instance I work really hard all day at my job and after a few years of being totally overwhelmed there, we finally got an awesome new employee that totally fits our office vibe and does an amazing job. I made this card for her and it fits her perfectly.

I used the sentiment from Hipster Kody, because she actually is 100% Organic Awesome. I had fun with the mint and peach color scheme and those little pops of rose. I’m really happy with it and I hope she will be too!
