Hi everyone! Faye with you today with the final instalment in a very big story…

Wow, what a journey! Two and a half months. One hundred and eighteen different projects. So many votes the number is too big for me to add up in my head. A Sketch. Friendship. Opposite Colours. Make a Scene. Three Piece Coordinating Set. Sixty Eight. Twenty. Fifteen. Ten. Five.

And now, this loot, valued at around $800, has one person’s name on it…

We’d like to say a MASSIVE Thank You to American Crafts, Copic Marker, Spectrum Noir, SP & Co., Paper Issues and Oozak for being a part of this event and stumping up such an amazingly generous prize. Thanks also to Kristy and Leah L’Orange for organising the prize in the first place, it was a massive undertaking. And just as importantly, thank you to everyone that has participated in Odd Idol in some way, Competitor, Voter, Spectator, it’s only been this much fun because of you. And however you have been involved, haven’t you just been blown away by each and every single project you’ve seen along the way? We have!

So, let’s talk about our Top 5. Weren’t the projects just aweeeeeeeeesome?! They were all so different, but equally fantastic. The leader board has moved around each day, more than any other round of voting. Let’s give Emma, Suzanne, Abbey, Annie and Damaris a mahoosive round of applause for being sooooooooo fabulous and for doing so well in such a tough competition. But. There can only be one winner.

And that winner is…

Abbey:

And there you have it, the Winner of Odd Idol 2013! Big applause for our winner and everyone who entered!

Congratulations Abbey. Please get in touch with your full postal address, so we can get your prize out to you.

Have a great weekend everyone… may the Odd, be with you!
