Hi Oddies, Christa here with a fun post, hope you like it?

I made this kraft bag for my father, it was his birthday. He likes to work in the garden, that is why I thought it might be nice to make something with vegetables.

The vegetables from SomeOddGirl are so cute! You can find them, Radish, Carrot, Broccoli, and Peas in Threes, in the section “Kawaii”.

I colored them with my watercolor medium Tansai Gambi, gave some sparkle with the Wink of Stella pen, and diecut a few grass borders and add the vegetables in the grass.

The next picture you see two glass tubes with a cork. In those glass tubes, I add some bean seeds so my father can plant them.

Later I add some money behind the tubes so he can buy his own present.
And yes he loved it, only the beans stay in the tubes, for now, a little too cold to plant.

Have you seen the new Zodiac digital stamp? This one is so awesome, don’t forget to pick it up.

And are you a member of the monthly coloring club, come and read in the Some Odd Girl Community how to do that.
Have a nice day XX
Christa

Hello everyone! It’s Made By Fairy Sky today and I’m delighted to find you with a card where I came out of my comfort zone, and as much to say it right away sometimes it’s good because, despite all the constraints, I am a fan of the result!

For today’s card, I used the stamp “Peas in Threes” because I wanted to give myself the constraint for once to scrap something that I would not be used to put in the center of my card, these peas were just perfect for the occasion and then they are so fun, is not it?

The second constraint that I gave myself and you’ll have quickly understood LOL is to use mainly the green and white combo! So when you know me we know it’s a combo of colors that I particularly like in my copics but then when it comes to just put it on a map the task is much harder than what she does not seem there!

So I started by coloring these peas first because frankly, they are so funny and so communicative that even in coloring I still manage to laugh a pack of times thanks to this card! For that I just and as always use my copics. Then I cut into a watercolor paper a Kesiart dies to create a watercolor background created using watercolor paint.

Then I stuck my peas on my cut dies and stuck it all on a green cardstock a little darker to bring out the center of my creation and my peas before coming to add the two final touches to my project, some sequins and a small journaling on transparent paper where is written “Today is gonna be awesome”

In order to simplify your task, here is the list of the material used for this card :

  • Digi Stamp “Peas in Threes” Some Odd Girl
  • Dies Kesiart Set Napperon
  • Big Shot of Sizzix
  • Tombow Glue
  • Memento Pen
  • Copic : Blender / YG23 / G99 / RV23
  • Sequins, Deco Transfer and Green Cardstock

Hoping that this card encourages you to use too little funny characters that Kristy has created and are available in the shop! Don’t forget to share your fabulous projects on the Facebook Community, the whole team will be delighted to discover your creations!

See you soon 🙂
