Well we are a little later than usual. Not that anyone probably notice *looks around*. Let’s say my hubs let me sleep in this morning then he and Dude (my son) came in a snuggled with me ๐Ÿ™‚ Who can leave that? Not me! So we’re late but for good reason!

We had so many fun entries for the Make a Scene challenge that I was just super inspiring to hop around and leave comments! There were so many creative takes to behold, it was amazing! YOU all are amazing! YAY! So we had 55 possible entries for our challenge, remember, using a Some Odd Girl stamp/digi on your creation gets you 2 entries. So random.org got to pick our winners from the entries and it drew….

Congrats Paul! He layered 2 stamps to create his scene. Magical! ๐Ÿ™‚ Paul, email me Kristy@someoddgirl.com to collect your goodies!

Our two favs this time look like they went that extra mile to create a fun scene. Lots of dimension and style. Our first will take you to a summer retreat in someplace warm and tropical with an island scene and hot colors. Tracey did a masterful job coloring too!

Our second one I couldn’t help making a fav, she had such a good idea when she chose which image to use that it just added to the dimension of her scene. Then she pulled it all together flawlessly! Elena’s card takes you right there!
Congrats to both our favs! Well done! Elena and Tracey, email me Kristy@someoddgirl.com to get your fav’s blinkie for your blog ๐Ÿ™‚
Stop back for tomorrows challenge, you might have to wear the pants in the family (or think you do lol)  to get it done but we’ll see ๐Ÿ˜‰
Stay Odd!

Congrats to the winners from the Get into Shape Challenge! You can see the list in yesterday’s post ๐Ÿ™‚

Today’s challenge was a stumper almost across the whole Odd board but I’ve seen the creativity you all have so I know that with a bit of outside the box thinking this will be fun AND bring in some really great creations! Our challenge… MAKE A SCENE! I want you to use your skills to make a scene. Could be a beach scene, clouds or butterflies in a sky, Moooey chowin on some grass in green pastures… whatever you come up with! Be creative you smart chicks! I know you can do it!

Here’s what the Odd Girls did with this challenge:

Our Guest Odd Girl Patricia used Hula Kaylee

See? Lots of ways to do it! They were even talking scene cards on PaperCrafts Connection yesterday, which I found a lovely coincidence. So let’s see you make a scene of  your own! This challenge runs thru May 31st. When the linky closes the challenge is over. Make sure as well that you are linking back your new for this challenge blog post to our blog or sweet InLinkz will not let you link up until you do.
Winner of this challenge will get 3 digis of the winners choice!
So don’t be shy, MAKE A SCENE!

Hey ya Oddies! I hope everyone has been having a great spring, getting all crafty and inky. We are having just a blast seeing our new Clear Stamps making their way into the crafty world! Share any and all your Odd creations with us on our Facebook page, its such fun seeing them!

For our shape up challenge you all totally rawked it! I saw so many creative takes, great cards and awesome coloring skills! Our winner from this fabulous group is Nikki!

Congrats Nikki! You’re the winner of 2 digis of your choice from our shop! Email me, Kristy@someoddgirl.com to get your goodies!
Our favs from this challenge were especially hard to choose. I could have easily chosen 5 and still been unhappy leaving others out. Not an enviable position! I went with 2 cards that stood out to me for different reasons. Our first had excellent coloring and bright fun colors. Elena did such a fabby job bringing lots of texture in too
Isn’t it lovely? Our second fav stood out because her card has such a fun, different shape. It really hit the mark on the challenge. Patricia also had excellent coloring and lots of details.
Congrats to both our favs! Elena, Patricia, email me Kristy@someoddgirl.com to get your fav’s badge!
A big thanks to everyone who played along! You’ll want to join us tomorrow, the challenge we have for you will make you just want to make a scene! It’s gonna be a blast! Stay Odd!
