We’ve got a fun announcement today and something else so watch this little video to get the scoop!

Are you excited! ME TOO!!!

Remember, to be apart of this contest and help us celebrate the fun of our first CHA, you must make a clear stamp order between now and July 1 direct from us. International Oddies are welcome to join us too just in case anyone was wondering 😉  You’ll want to hang on to your little Kaylee ticket tops so you can show us your happy winner face! 😀  We only have 500 raffle tickets so don’t miss out.

We just had our Spring Clear Stamp release and will be having another Nouveau Girls Clear Release in April, then a Summer Fun release in May after that there won’t be any more new Clear Releases until CHA! So lots of fun and new sets headed your way!

It’s FRIDAY!  Can I get a “WOOT WOOT”?!  (That’s where you go “WOOT WOOT!”)

Yep, we’ve made it through another week…  Have you been inspired by the stuff we’ve shared with you, dear Odd Friends?  We hope so!  And we promise to keep up the excitement, because we’re getting ready to wrap up our March Challenge and bring on a brand new one for April, PLUS we Odd Girls have been working diligently in preparation for our April releases!  You’re gonna wanna come back to see what I’m talkin’ about, because our fearless leader keeps killin’ us with CUTE!  🙂

So.  This is the day when I share a project, or two, or in today’s case, THREE, that have popped up around the blogosphere, and that TOTALLY ooze fabulosity, creativity, loveliness, or all of the above!  If you’re looking for some mojo, I think you may find some today after checking out these gorgeous creations.

First up, I found this pretty on the Fiskarscraft blog…  The talented Tara is showing off some new Fiskars punches, but WOW, look what she did with our new Rainy Mae!

Aren’t those some fabulous WELLIES?!  🙂  And the layers upon layers of scallops just make me grin!  Thanks for showing our Rainy Mae some Fiskars love, Tara!  🙂  Utterly beautiful and cheery!

Next up, a big WOW project using one of our Nouveau Girls stamps…  Can’t stop looking at this one, right?  It’s BEAUTIFUL – the colors, the texture, the sparkle…  Sara has definitely done it up right with Wishes!

Seriously!  WOW, right?  Are you about to explode with mojo yet, Odd Friends?  We love how Sara kept Wishes‘ eyes looking mysterious and how she added sutble details like the feather, the ticket, and the glittery flower centers to tie everything together.  Doesn’t the feather kind of mimic Wishes‘ wings?  GORGEOUS!

And last, but not least, ANOTHER beautiful creation using one of our Nouveau Girls!  They’re poppin’ up everywhere, and we love to see how differently everybody uses them!  This one features Grow, and the warmth of this card is just PERFECT on a chilly New Jersey morning!  Look what Alyce did!

Aren’t those vibrant reds FANTASTIC?!  And that pop of blue?  Just…  WOW.  FULL of texture (I’m a big fan), the perfect mix of shabby chic elements and papers, and utterly elegant.  Thank you, Alyce, for sharing your Grow project with the bloggy world!  We love it!

So.  Next week, folks, just ONE spotlight.  Think I can manage that?  😉  We’ll see.

In the meantime, thank you to EVERYONE who shares the SOGgy love, whether on your blogs, in galleries around the net, for our challenges, or with people you love.  We appreciate you!  Stay Odd, folks, and have a wonderful weekend! We’ll be back later today with a big announcement and some fun to get in on!

Hi ya everyone, welcome to another fun day at Some Odd GirlMelissa here to share a little wall hanging I created with Nouveau Girl Wishes.  I love this little mysterious fairy with her large eyes and dragonfly wings.

I wanted to do something special for my girls so I created this just for them.  I took a simple wall plaque that I purchased at our local scrap store.  I painted it white and sprayed the whole thing with Lindy’s Stamp Gang Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz.  I added a sheet of designer paper and then covered the whole thing in this gorgeous trim I got from iCopic – it’s like a silver mesh.

I colored Wishes in my Copics and added flowers and sprays to the plaque too.  I also added this large butterfly from Recollections and then took Stardust Stickles and added it to the flowers, image and portions of the plaque.

I hope you enjoyed this simple project today and that I was able to inspire you to create your own wall hanging with the gorgeous Wishes!  Don’t forget that you still have a few days to enter our Sketch Challenge!  The prizes are too good to not play along!
