Good Morning ODDies!! Leah C here with you today.

I am so excited to show you my project feature! It has been so hard keeping these cuties hidden away. My children celebrated birthdays on Feb. 20th and March 9th,  but they shared a birthday party on Feb. 25th and I created these with a birthday in mind.

Cupcake Memory Toppers

Aren’t they adorable?

I started off by using my Bigshot and Nestabilities circles cutting out 1 7/8″ circles with Copic X-Press it paper, then I stamped my favorite Some Odd Girl images in the circles using Memento ink.

I stamped 8 pairs of images. I knew I would be putting quite a bit of time into these… I not only wanted cuteness, but functionality… enter in the idea to turn these cute toppers into a Matching Memory game.

They weren’t perfect by any means, but I colored them close enough to recognize a match once they were turned over. My children totally LOVED them, and made me feel like the best mom in the world. 🙂

The kids love playing the Some Odd Girls memory game, they are holding up surprisingly well on the rosettes! Once they are done playing with them, I bet I could still add them to a card or something too. 🙂

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project feature.
Some Odd Girl stamps used for this project:
Crushin’ Gwen
Lovey Tobie
Dancin’ Mae
Sweet Thinkin’ Mae
Big Day Tobie
Baker Mae
Cupcake Mae

Have a happy day!!

This is Barbara and I have a fun project to bring you today!  Our latest incentive at our house is to earn tickets which can be spent on endless screen time… well, not quite endless but 3 tickets at a time.  I only wish I could say my house was spotless because they’re trying to earn more tickets than their sisters, but noooo.  However, it was a good excuse to make a ticket holder.  LOL

This project uses one of the Nouveau Girls, Dancer, which is perfect for my daughter’s personality. She asked me to color it like her and make sure she was “modest” – so I gave her blonde hair, brown eyes, and made the top into a blouse with polkadots. ;D After decorating the front, we glued magnets on the back and then placed it on the refrigerator. Even though it isn’t bursting with tickets, I can at least say it looks lovely on fridge.  Hope you like it and thanks for coming by to see my project!  *Hugs
