WOW! I can’t believe I’m about to say we had 80 entries in for our last challenge! Such talent and skill! Everyone did an amazing job! I’m super happy that random.org gets to choose our winner and now me! Remember, using a Some Odd Girl digi in your entry gets you two 🙂 So our of 80 eligible entries random.org chose number 79!

Congrats Denise! You have won 2 digis of your choice! Email me at Kristy@someoddgirl.com with your picks!
I also have two favs who have won 4 SOG points each! What are SOG Points? Check it out. Our first fav colored her image in an Odd way and we LOVED IT!
Naty used paper piecing to color in her entire image! Hair, skin and all! I love the look it gave her. Now that is some dedication to your card and craft 🙂 Our second fav had some gorgeous coloring too!
Armed with ProMarkers, Vixykins totally brought her image to life. Check out that hair! Wow! Favs, please email me Kristy@someoddgirl.com with your user name on our site so I can add your points and get you your fav blinkies!
Thanks for playing everyone! I hope to see you all back here bright and early tomorrow for our first blog Some Odd Girl Digi only challenge. Its got a purty awesome prize so you won’t want to miss it!

Hey there, odd crafty peeps! Leah here, and we hope you’re excited about seeing our new Odd Girls in action, and getting to know everyone! We are thrilled to be bringing you lots of new features and fun stuff to keep you all on your toes, so today we have a very special introduction to make!

We had LOADS of fantastic applications when we announced the Odd Girl Call, and they just kept trickling in right up until the last minute (and even afterwards! hee hee!). So many amazing projects to review and blogs to visit and we worked hard to find just the right ‘fit’ for our team. Well besides the “full time” Odd Girls you’ve already met, we had one application in particular jump out at us, and when I tell you that this young lady OOZED enthusiasm and energy and spirit, it’s a huge understatement!

We’ve labeled her our “ODD-i-Teen“…
Please give a very Odd welcome to
CARLIE!

We are SO pleased, flattered, excited and positively overjoyed to have this spunky teen creating for us, and we KNOW you’re going to adore her as much as we already do!

Just take a look at these fabby little projects, and you’ll see why we HAD to invite her to join us…

🙂

This recent card, featuring Baker Kaylee, just screams “YUM!”, doesn’t it?

And for this happy little number, she used Tobie and Buddy:

Now that you’ve seen a couple of her gorgeous creations (and hooooo-eeee, the girl can COLOR!), wouldn’t you love to know a little bit about her? This is what our ODD-i-Teen had to say about herself:

“I am a very talented 12 year old girl who has a passion for crafting. I have been crafting since I was a little girl and get all of my inspiration from my family and friends. I love challenges, trying new things, and to think of new things everyday! I am addicted to digi stamps and have a obsession with paper and BLING!!!!

Carlie, you’re a very welcome addition to the Some Odd Girl design team! WELCOME, and we hope you have fun!

The rest of you NEED to go check out her blog now, because I’ve only given you a tiny little sampling of her wonderful work… CLICK HERE TO VISIT CARLIE’S BLOG! And be sure to follow, ‘cuz you’re not gonna wanna miss a thing! 🙂

The closer Valentine’s is looming the more I’m sure you are looking to knock that card for your sweetie off your “to-do” list. And let’s say that maybe you aren’t so into the traditional color scheme of Pink/red/white, what’s a girl to do? Odd Girl Sarah R shows that love comes in all colors!

Sarah used Love Letter Kaylee for this card
Still plenty of hot red but the orange and black are the unexpected pops that will set your card apart!
So let’s see those “unexpected” color schemes for Valentine’s day! If you have a card to share, link it up in the comments and there might be a lil goodie in it for a lucky person 🙂
And if you are looking for easy help to go Digi Sarah has a good article at Tally Scrapper on it!
