Congrats to our Pleat Something Challenge Winners! You can see the winner and the fav on our post yesterday.

First off, we’d like to thank Lizzie for guesting with us for March. She did a fab job and we hope she keeps playing along πŸ™‚ Let’s welcome our April Guest Odd Girl Mary…

Mary Johnson
Blog: Where’s my Creativity?

I was born in Hong Kong and came to England when I was 2 years old.  I now live in a small village in East Sussex with my husband Steve.  We have been together for over 13 years and we have two Yellow Labradors called Poppy and Lulu.  Most of all we love going for long walks along the coast.  I work in Central London for a large corporate company as one of the operations leaders.  It’s demanding but I love it because they need me to run things smoothly for them and I like to feel in demand, lol!!

I never considered myself to be creative but found cardmaking through a friend several years ago.  I’ve now got the crafting bug BIG time!  I started my own blog in July 2009 as a way to challenge myself – I like to experiment, using different mediums and techniques.  But what I love most of all about blogging are the great new friends I’ve made!

Welcome Mary! Mary will be with us for our challenges and sneaks this month πŸ™‚ Speaking of Challenges, our challenge this go is CAS, clean and simple. We want to see minimal and streamlined. Here’s how our Odd Girls did:

Our Guest Odd Girl Mary used Roller Mae

Kristy used Tiny Baby (from the April 19th Release!)

Carlie used Star Bright Tia (a past freebie)

Asa used Sign Mae

So let’s see what you can do! You will be playing for 2 Digis from our shop! This challenge will run thru April 19th, midnight EST. When the linky closes, the challenge is over πŸ™‚ Entries must be new and linked back to our challenge. If an entry doesn’t meet the challenge/requirements the link will be deleted. So let’s play! I can’t wait to see your Clean and Simple entries!

Tick-tock-tick-tock time is flying by. Its already April (GLUP) and SOOOOOO many things are a foot its uncanny! All next week we will be having sneaks of our April 19th release here on the blog πŸ™‚ Some much asked for cuteness in there! And very shortly I will be announcing the details and release date for the Clear Stamps!!! We’ll just say, LESS THAN A MONTH and they’ll be in the shop! We’re planning a big to-do so keep an eye for the details!

I have two favs and a winner from our Pleat Something Challenge to share. is too nice for taking on the job of picking the winner for me. Our winner had a bright and cheery card with a bit of whimsy too…

Congrats to Diana from Design by Diana! Email me to collect your two digi winnings πŸ™‚
The first of our two favs seemed reluctant with the pleating idea but pulled it off on a fun monochromatic card that was simple in design but elegant to boot! Andrea’s coloring of Flower Girl Mae is lovely too!
I must have had a thing for Flower Girl Mae when I picked our favs today lol. Our next fav uses her too but this time has a total different color scheme. Tasha used soft pinks for her fabulous coloring job that carried into the scheme of her card. The pops of green are beautiful with glittery butterflies in her garden πŸ™‚
Congrats to our favs Andrea and Tasha! Please email me for your fav’s blinkie and with your user name so I can add your SOG Points to your account.
Join us back tomorrow for a simple challenge that you won’t have to clean up your desk to do πŸ˜‰  And we would also like to thank Lizzie for joining us for March as our Guests Odd Girl. Fabulous job! Tomorrow we’ll introduce you to our April Guest and I know you’ll swoon too!

first a quick WOOHOO to 300 followers! Big smooches to each of you!!!

Today I’ve got a Some Odd Spotting to share sent to me by our own Robin. She was hopping around and found this lovely creation:
