So yes.  There that is.  Two super cute new digis for you to grab HERE, and to share with us HERE

Have we mentioned it’s a really exciting time for Some Odd Girl?  And that we’re celebrating a BIRTHDAY?!  Come and join us in the Facebook Community all week for fun goings-on and good times and help us celebrate!  There MIGHT be some games.  There MIGHT be some challenges.  There MIGHT be some secrets revealed!  There will definitely be a lot of interaction and probably some silliness.  That’s something we Odd Girls take pride in.  🙂

Hi Everyone! Ellen here with you today with homemade packaging. During the Christmas season, it’s sometimes difficult to find a perfect present for certain individuals. That’s why I still occasionally give money or a gift card. To make that package more fun, I re-use packaging and make it pretty.

The first thing I want to show you is a gift box I decorated. I punched out some stars to make confetti for the inside and for the outside I used the Santa Clear Stamp. (Remember when you’re looking for gifts for people, the most plain and boring packaging is sometimes the BEST, because you can pretty it up!)

The next item is for a gift card or money. I re-used a gift card packaging and decorated it with some awesome stamps: Build a Snowman Clear Stamp and Hipster Pets Clear Stamp (currently out of stock, but we’ll have more!). For the sentiments, inside and outside, I used the Santa Clear Stamp.

Have a lot fun around the Christmas table! And if you are a gift specialist, be sure to show us some fun ideas in de linky party on the left, on Instagram using the hashtag #SomeOddGirl or in our Facebook Community.  We love being inspired by YOU!!

Good morning, Oddies!

Alexis here with today’s Friday Fun post! I’m in complete Christmas card mode and I don’t know about you, but what starts out pretty fun can end up getting stressful coming up with a bunch of different cards for everyone in your life that deserves one. So, if I can find a way to streamline or simplify the process, I’m all over it. This year, I decided to make all of my cards varied, but using the same theme and products to limit my options a little and therefore limit my stress.

Today I have three cards to show you, all using the same papers, inks and embellishment sets and some fun Some Odd Girl stamps, of course!

The first is a nice and bright card with a sweet little girl elf from the Warm Wishes Tia Clear Set

Elf Card

My next card uses the penguin from the same clear set and the sentiment from Gifty Gwen

Penguin

With a handful of materials and a couple hours one afternoon, I managed to knock out 3 out of…like a billion christmas cards I need to send this year. I feel pretty accomplished. HA!

And for those of you paying attention, you’ll notice I have only posted two of my promised cards. For my final card, you’ll have to tune into the Hol-Odd-Day Hop we have starting MONDAY!!! See you there!

Have a wonderfully ODD weekend, friends!
