Hello Ellen here! When you think about Christmas, you think about lights, ornaments, snow… but I also have to think about all the candy… as you know I like to make a lot crafty projects beside card making, so I decided to decorate a candy jar with the matching candy lover Gingerbread Kaylee Clear Stamp.

First I decorated the lid. In the jar will be pink candy canes, so that was my start for using a lot pink colors on Kaylee. Of course to bring the Christmas spirit on the lid I  also used a lot green.

Of course the lid was not enough. I had so much fun I also created a tag for the jar. The waving gingerbread just makes me nuts! Isn’t he cute?

Hi all – it’s Anna Sigga here and I am feeling rather festive!

I love making my own Christmas tags and for some reason I keep leaving these darling trees from the Build a Snowman stamp set out.

So I decided to put them to good use – give them the gold treatment and of course add a bit of sparkle.

Do you create your own tags for the Holidays? If so we would love to see your fab creations and just so we don’t miss them use #SOMEODDGIRL.

Holidays, like today’s Thanksgiving in the US, are a happy time for me. I get to see my immediate and extended family without the distractions from work or social media, and we catch up on all the latest and greatest from cousins and friends. There’s some hard work involved with cleaning and food prep, but it’s overall a loving and fun experience. I know, however, that I’m really fortunate and that the holidays can be a really rough or lonely time for many others out there. So, I decided to start celebrating my holidays by creating a simple encouragement card – a reminder to anyone out there who’s struggling today that they’re beautiful and thought of.

elle_l-hi-beautiful-ava For my card, I used the Hi Kaylee Digi. I’m so thankful that Kristy released these avatars in digi form, because I now can customize them to look like my card’s recipient or to look like me. And there’s nothing better than sending a personalized card that one could never find on a store shelf. Since Kaylee is so large and detailed, I kept the rest of my card very simple – just using a color block patterned paper, sticker sentiment and a few enamel dots.

As always, we’d love to see you in our Facebook Community. Come hang out with us and chat with some Oddie fans.
