Okay, Oddies, confession time! I often leave my card-making for the last minute. An hour before that birthday party, I’m probably putting the finishing touches on the birthday card and stuffing it in an envelope. It’s not the greatest of habits, and I’ll be working to change it this year!

This year, I’m working on building up a card stash – having some great cards to use at any occasion. I started with a simple Hello card using the adorable Kitty Tia digi stamp. I used bright and happy colors, and combined masculine and feminine tones so the card can be sent to anyone. I made a sentiment from foam alphabet stickers  – which added dimension without adding a lot of bulk. When I was coloring Tia, I made sure to use contrast between my colors so she would pop and be the star of the show.
