Good morning, Oddettes and Oddudes.  Alexis here with our final release of January and it’s a crazytown fun one!  I’m also super excited to introduce our next Digi Me contest winner and today’s Guest Oddie, Ann Meyer!

Her mood board was super inspirational, as you can see, and her request was for a Wheelchair Kaylee. (LOVE IT)

And naturally, the outcome was FAB!

Here is a little note from Ann to go with her projects:

“I was thrilled to learn that I was selected as a winner of the Some Odd Girl Digi Me Contest.  I submitted a collage asking Kristy to create Kaylee using a wheelchair.  I have many friends who use wheelchairs for mobility and I could not find any stamps or digital images of people in wheelchairs. I couldn’t be happier with the results.”

I’m crazy over these matching cards!  The Wheelchair Kaylee Digi is available in the Some Odd Girl shop along with a Digi called Girlfriends Kaylee and Mae (also super cute).  If you’re like me and need ALL THE THINGS, then swing on by and grab ’em up!  Be sure to leave a comment below letting Ann know what you think of her awesome idea and guest projects!

Hi Oddies!!

It’s Lenny here with you today!  How are you doing?  Are you blog hoppin’ with us this week?  What did you think of all the holiday inspiration?  I’m inspired … totally inspired!

And … here goes another “Hol-ODD-Day” inspiration post.  It’s our FINAL DAY!

I made a set of holiday table decorations; a menu, a place card, a little pillow box and a napkin ring, all in non-traditional Christmas colors.  First of all, I picked some patterned papers (6×6 and 12×12) that I had from last year.  For my table decorations I used a few different Some Odd Girl clear stamps: HollyDay Gwen –  Angel Gwen – Warm Wishes Tia.  This last set is retired now but … no worries, lots of other possibilities:

–> if  you love penguins: these digis would be perfect: Chilly PenguinPenguin FriendsPenguin Love

–> or these digi cuties are possible too: Holiday Pup – Sweet DeerPolar Cub-sicle!

And then of course I added some Pink Bamboo Twine and Sorbet Sequins!  Here are some photos…

ANNNNND a quick Spotlight and our Pin of the Week, because we can’t forget about our awesome Oddies today!

First up, our Spotlight this week used the fun Snowball Tia digi stamp that’s featured in our Snow Digi Bundle, as well as cute and cozy Winter Tobie digi stamp – don’t these two look great all bundled up in this fun little city scene?

You’ll want to check out Kim’s blog, too, because there’s a nostalgic story to go along with the stockings, and it made me love Chris Mouse even more!  (And I love him lots!)  Kim, congrats and thanks for sharing your project with us!  Please drop me a line at and I’ll hook you up with your code for a free digi from the Some Odd Girl shop!

Next up, our Pin of the Week, as shared on the Oddies’ Project Board on Pinterest!  We love seeing your pins, and Some Odd Girl has gotten a lot of attention on Pinterest lately!  Check us out HERE and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

Our Pin of the Week comes from Aimee, who is also a regular Oddie, and she created this fabulous pocket page for her daily planner using our Crushin’ Gwen and Angel Gwen (for the star background) clear stamp sets:

Planners and organizers are all the rage right now!  How easy would it be to incorporate an envelope like this into the pages to keep things in order (especially important ones!) and do them all up Odd-style like Aimee did, using Some Odd Girl images?  Love it, Aimee!  We hope you’ll wear your Pin of the Week badge with pride!

So, dear friends, we hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and find time for yourself to chill, create, and embrace your Odd side!  See you soon!
