Hey there, Odd friends!  Leah here, happy to wish you all a wonderful weekend!

We’ve got some beauties to share today as our Friday Spotlight and Pin of the Week take center stage!  It’s early in the month, so there is PLENTY of time for you to link up your October creations to our Linky Party in the right sidebar…  This is the only way to get spotlighted on our blog, so while you might be sharing your projects via Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest, don’t forget to add your link up there!  (It’s so easy, you can actually do all channels at once!)

Let’s cut to the chase, shall we?

This happy and bright card featuring our Little Loves clear stamp set really caught my eye!

GORGEOUS, Lykta!  I’d be the kind of mom who would prefer to stay away from the soft pastels, too, and you nailed this!  I love the use of the primary colors, and that bunny is just too cute!  Your card is wonderfully balanced, too, and I think the new mom’s going to love it!

Lykta, please email me at Leah@someoddgirl.com and I will give you a code for a free digi from the Some Odd Girl shop!  Congrats on your spotlight!

Next up, we have our Pin of the Week…  Another eye-catcher, with our Fairy Magic clear stamp set taking center stage on a CLEAR card!  Check this beauty out!

This was added to our Oddies’ Project Board on Pinterest, and that clear card really stood out, truly putting our Fairy center stage!  The muted colors are so pretty and really make you think of the forest, and the additions of glitter to the wings and the bling really do make this feel magical!  Gorgeous card from blynndesign!  You have earned yourself our Pin of the Week!  Check your email for your badge!

We hope you’re feeling inspired, Odd friends!  Go forth and create!  And remember, use hashtags #someoddgirl and #digimecontest and show us your MOOD BOARDS – you might be one of the lucky winners of our Digi Me contest!  CLICK HERE for all of the details!

Welcome to the WEEKEND, Oddies!

Leah here, and I hope you’ve all had a most amazing week and are ready for some big crafting ahead!  Next week, our big CONTEST is coming to Some Odd Girl, and we are inviting you to play along…  It’s gonna be a fun one!  I’ll have lots of details to share on Monday when it all kicks off, but we hope there will be some silliness and TONS of participation on our social media channels.  Invite all of your friends, and get your cameras ready!

Today, I’m happy to bring a fabulously gorgeous spotlight from a girl who’s been hanging out with the Oddies for a LONG time…  Her creations are always beautiful; she uses a wide range of textures and media, and there’s a softness and elegance to her projects, regardless of the image used.  She could turn our Breakfast Friends clear stamp set into an awe-inspiring floral wonderland if she chose!  In this case, she used our Threshold Mae digi stamp – take a look!

See what I mean?  Janine (Chrilvian) has the knack for combining the most gorgeous elements for a complete and astounding project.  I love the wedding bands and the “something blue” pearls, and the muslin and burlap trims, and the chapel, and, and…  Well heck, I seriously love it all, and I couldn’t wait to share this spotlight!

Janine, thank you for linking up to our Link Party and for years and years of Some Odd Girl support and love!  You truly do our products justice!  Please send me an email at Leah@someoddgirl.com and I’ll send you a code for a free digi from our shop, so you can take our breath away again!  🙂

I love what you Oddies do with our stamps.  Seriously.  Please keep linking at the top right Linky Party so I can continue to spotlight your wonderful creations!  We also have a “Back to School” challenge going on in the Facebook community, so why not drop by and play along?

Today we also get to share our Pin of the Week,
as shared on our Oddies Project Board on Pinterest!

This card is utterly classic and stunning, with the traditional holiday colors and gorgeous trim!  Our little Acorn Fairy clear stamp is suited up and perfectly suited (see what I did there?) for Christmas, and we sincerely hope it’s going to be a merry one!

Congrats, Jess D!  Not only have you rocked an image we might not have considered to be a Christmas one and turned him into a little elfin dude, but your signature doodles have grabbed me again and I just want to reach out and pet that bow.  Velvet!  Classic holiday perfection!  Love your card, and congrats on being selected as our Pin of the Week!  You’ll get a badge for your blog and we hope lots of people re-pin your fun card!

You’re all welcome to contribute to our Oddies Pin Board – everyone’s doing it!  😉

That’s going to wrap up our week, folks!  Thanks for helping us make this week awesome, and we can’t tell you how utterly excited we are (I am!) about Monday!  See you then with all the contest details for Digi Me!

Well folks, Leah here, and woo hoo!  We have reached Friday again! We hope you’ve all had an amazing week!  Next week, more fun new digis and lots of inspiration from our Odd Girls!  We also have something VERY cool coming soon, so here’s a little hint…

I can’t give you more info just yet, but it’s something we concocted at the beginning of the year and we need YOU to participate!  This will be a highly interactive thing, so be sure you’re following us on our social media channels to give yourself a little edge.  I swear, that’s all I’m saying!  For now.  🙂

So since it’s Friday, it’s SPOTLIGHT TIME!  I have a project to show you that was shared in our Facebook group as well as in our Linky Party (gotta be in the Linky to be featured!)…  I was blown away by the amount of time and attention to detail that was put into this one.  It’s gorgeous!  And, well, it’s no secret that our Odd friends are a TRULY talented bunch of crafters, so it’s not surprising that the COLORING is simply stunning…  Enough talk!  Let’s spotlight!

kim spotlight2

Oh yeah.  Kim Rippere, congratulations!  Your ID tags using our Bubbles Mermaid digi stamp – BLOWN RIGHT OUTTA THE WATER!  (see what I did there?)  I love that these are all different – in color, in size, in varying degrees of amazingness.  What an absolutely beautiful set!  Thanks so much for showing our girl Mae the SOGgy love, and for sharing in our Linky Party.  I think I need to make myself a new luggage tag now.

Kim, please email me at leah@someoddgirl.com and I’ll hook you up with a code for a free digi from the Some Odd Girl shop!  And thank you for giving us an awesome start to the weekend!

Go forth and create wonderfully ODD things, friends!  See you on Monday!
(Or sooner if you’re hanging out with us in the Facebook community!)
