Hi!

I’m Therese one of the guests here at Some Odd Girl, I’m so horned to be a part in this awesome team. It’s such a fabulous group of ladies with a lot of talent and encouragement.Β

Who am I?
I’m Therese soon 30 years old girl πŸ˜‰ from Sweden. I’m living on the countryside with my husband andΒ  our two sons, Anton 6 years and Adam soon 4 years. I been crafting since forever πŸ˜‰ but I bought my copics back in winter 2016 and was stuck. I love my copics and it’s the best thing I bought in scrapbooking. When I scrapbook it’s often cards but I also do layouts, mixed media and project life.

What I like about Some Odd Girls stamps is the variety of stamps, it’s not just one character but a whole family. SOG’s stamps has it all and it’s hard to choose just one I like more. But right now I’m a sucker for space so this newbie from last month is a favorite.

The ones following me on different socialmedias knows I like to do galaxy/northenlights so this isn’t any different. πŸ˜‰

Good morning, Oddies! Alexis here with a simple card that I made using Curtsy Gwen digi stamp. Have you ever just felt really good about your coloring on an image? That’s how I felt after coloring this stamp, so I wanted to keep the card fairly simple because I wanted the focus mainly on the image and the coloring of those intricate dress folds that were so much fun! I love those kinds of details in an image and I think when you spend so much time coloring a stamp, you don’t want to over complicate the card around it.

I used a sentiment from a retired Some Odd Girl clear set, which seemed super appropriate for this image and will work great for a Birthday, Thank You or Love card. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum and adhered it over part of my image, so that you could still see my coloring, but it would add some interest to the card overall. A few sequins and blamo! Cute card fit for royalty. Or at least a friend or family member you like a lot.
