HAPPY FRIDAY!

It’s the end of an AMAZING week-long event with ARC Crafts, and we’d like to say a very big THANK YOU to our sensational partners this week!  The ARC Crafts crew have done an amazing job at creating with our products, hooking our designers up with great wood tapes and adhesive papers, and generously donating prizes to be won!

Today, we wrap up our event with one more batch of gorgeous projects featuring Some Odd Girl and ARC Crafts products, and we’ll be back Monday with a new video, a spotlight, and some winners!  The winners will be announced on BOTH the Some Odd Girl blog and the ARC Crafts blog, so be sure to a) leave your comments by Sunday night on both blogs and b) check both blogs Monday morning to see if you were one of the lucky ones!  There are three prizes to be won!

On with the show then!

First up, Melissa made this cute card using our Measure Up Tobie digi stamp and actually printed the ruler onto the wood paper for an AWESOME effect!  She said it was SO easy to work with!

Tabbatha
created this doozie – SERIOUSLY.  She used our Woodsy Mae digi stamp and did some INCREDIBLE cuts with the Birch Wood Paper…  Just feast your eyes on this beauty!

And Dana used our Yes, Smile sentiment pack cut file and paired it up with the Birch Wood Paper as well for this super clean and simple and gorgeous textured card:

Sadly, this wraps up our main event.  We’ve had a TON of fun playing with ARC Crafts‘ wood tapes and adhesive papers, and you should TOTALLY check out their range of products HERE!  Don’t forget to visit their blog today and check out Charlet’s creations, and leave your comments on both blogs for your chance to win!  We have a $20 gift certificate to spend at Some Odd Girl, as well as 2 prizes of 1 tape roll and 1 paper roll from ARC Crafts!

Have a great weekend, friends!  See you Monday!

Mornin’, Oddies!  What’s shakin’?

It’s Wednesday, but we’re not complaining about getting over the hump, or anything like that, because we’re already having a great week with our partner, ARC Crafts!  We hope you’ve liked what you’ve seen so far, and that those wheels are turning – the possibilities are ENDLESS with their fabulous wood paper products!

ARC-Week-badge

We’re in the middle of our week of ‘wooderful’ inspiration, and the Odd Girls have more gorgeous projects to share!  When you’ve finished reading this post, you’ll want to hop on over to the ARC Crafts blog to see what they’re sharing!  Be sure to leave comments on both blogs all week because we have THREE awesome prizes to be won! Sunday will be your last day to comment, so be sure to check out Monday’s posts on our blog and the ARC blog, then Tuesday’s posts with our new digis and Charlet’s woodful card.

So let’s check out today’s creations…

Melissa‘s scene featuring our Horsing Around Mae digi stamp (with sentiment from our Cookies n Milk clear stamp set) is SO gorgeous, isn’t it? I love how she created a fence from the Cherry Wood Tape and the tree looks so realistic with the Rustic Birch Paper!

Nicole
went for earthy and used our Forest Goddess digi stamp, which is totally appropriate for these natural wood products!  She said “I loved working with the wood products that ARC Crafts offers. I love that I was able to rip the wood adhesive strip with my hands and get a great look.”

And Stéphanie rocked those Rustic Birch Papers with our Sunny Mae digi stamp.
Love how it cuts!  It’s as smooth as card stock and gives such a warm, rich effect!

Inspiring, no?  🙂

Are you enjoying this week of Some Odd Girl and ARC crafts goodness? We’re loving these wood products, and we know you will, too!  See you tomorrow for Day 4 of our event, and in the meantime, remember to drop by and say hello in our Facebook group (play along with our current challenge, Stars and Stripes – it’s ending SOON!), and link up ALL projects you create using Some Odd Girl stamps during the month of July to our linky party in the right sidebar!  I’ll be announcing our July winner next week, because our ARC Crafts party wraps up on Friday!

Aloha, Odd friends!  WELCOME BACK!  It’s Day Two of our WOODERFUL event with ARC Crafts and Some Odd Girl!

ARC-Week-badge

Today, we have a digi release that’s gonna send your thoughts swimming!  🙂

Did you catch yesterday’s posts on the ARC Crafts blog and here, on the Some Odd Girl blog?  There is inspiration at every turn, and our designers are having SO much fun combining Some Odd Girl stamps with ARC Crafts wood adhesive papers and tapes!

We will have 3 lucky winners this week amongst the commenters on both blogs, so leave some love and you could win $$$ to spend at the Some Odd Girl shop or one of two prize packs from ARC Crafts!

So.  Are you ready to see the new digis in conjunction with these fun wood products from ARC Crafts?  Let’s do it!

Please welcome to the Some Odd Girl digi family….

Hula Girl Mae and Jellyfish!

JoAnn made the following tag and card and put the wood paper through her die-cutting machine…  Here’s what she had to say about it, and her first project featuring JELLYFISH!

Can I just say that this ARC wood paper is pretty awesome?! It cuts so well with the Cameo – it was definitely a ton of fun to play with; like creating my own wood veneers without the bulk. 🙂

Um, and raise your hand if you hoard wood veneers???  *raises hand*
ARC Crafts Wood paper is perfect for all of your veneer hoarding needs!

And JoAnn‘s Hula Mae creation!

Next, Marilyn created this one, combining both digis and making her own die-cuts!

Melissa made a different kind of scene (AAAGGGHHH, the tiki torches!),
and said the wood paper was SUPER easy to work with!

And The Odd Girl herself, Kristy, did this tropical tag, added a sentiment from the Flirty Mae clear stamp set (trimming the speech bubble down), and oh my goodness, made a HUT from the wood veneer sheets!
