Bringing the Festival to you!

Hey Oddies,

It’s Cat here!

Now this year has seen the cancellation of so so many things! Not least of all, Music Festivals!

So what better than to bring the festival feel to you in my creation for today’s share!

I have used 2 png images, Cheers Kaylee and Drinks All Around Piper and put them together to create this one image of the girls. They have been coloured with ProMarkers and the Fussy Cut.

I have used a summers day Backing paper and placed a clip art image of a concert and audience to create the festival. I then added in some dots of distress ink for the festival lights and some ticket sentiments with twine to complete.

I hope you like it

Hi Oddies!

I’m Cristina Valenzuela. How are you? Thinking of summer like me?
For Barcelona strangely we still have a cold weather and a lot of rain.

Today I want to show you a card with summer colors and one of my favorite stamps, Cheers Kaylee.
I love this image, she transmits me a lot of positivity, joy and good things.

My papers and decorations that I used to make this card are from Doodlebug.
Ice cream is a charm, I bought a set at an Etsy store that I do not remember.

The stamp, I tried that the tones are the most similar to the papers, I used the following Copic colors:

Skin: E02, E00, E000, E11.

Hair: E55, E57, E53.

Cup: Y11, Y18, B000, BG70.

Dress and Flip Flops: R43, RV21, YR02, YR04, YR16.

Bow: YG23, YG13.

I hope you liked my card, thank you for your visits, do not forget to visit us to see more. Hugs!

Drink Recipe Book, cool down the summer heat!

2015-07-14

Hey Oddies! Kristy with you sharing a bit or inspiration you can easily make as a hostess gift or just for yourself.

This lil’ drink recipe book can keep all your fancy drink recipes right handy, or fill it up for your hostess as a welcome gift.

Drink-Recipe-book

I created a small book, measuring at just 5.75″ x 4.25″, using some layered pattern paper, washi and letter stickers. Binding it was as simple as punching 3 holes, threading my twine thru and tying it closed. With this method it would be a breeze to add more pages.

Drink-Recipe-book-close-up-1

Cheers Kaylee (digi stamp) is colored to go with my color scheme, her drink being a pop of color for the image.

I made this as a recipe book but there’s a lot of uses for a simple little book design like this. I hope it inspires you to give it a try!
