Giada

Lovely pets

Hello there! It’s Giada here and today I’m sharing with you an adorable card full of critters. As you may know, coloring and building scenes with critters are my comfort zone… and this set of Mini Pets is gorgeous: there are 5 pets included, but for today’s card I only used 3.

I chose the pets in order to create a pile: at the bottom I picked the dog, next the cat and the little bird at the top. It appears they are in good company!

I arranged them on a file and printed on white cardstock. The idea behind was creating a one layer card using ink blending, masking and stencils. I colored all the pets with alcohol markers (3 shades for each color family).

Since I printed them twice, I used the second pile to mask the panel and blend some inks on top (both regular and oxide Distress Inks).

Finally I put everything on a black cardbase, stamped some speech bubbles and added white accents on the eyes. This card makes me smile every time! Did you like this kind of cards? Let us know in our Facebook Community!

Ollie loves bananas

Hello Oddies! It’s Giada here and today I’m sharing with you a very clean and simple card with the super-cute monkey called Ollie – available in different poses in the shop! Since he is hugging a banana, I decided to match him with a sentiment that says “Who finds a friend, finds a treasure” in Italian. They seem like best friends (like chocolate and me)!

I printed and colored him with brown shades of alcohol markers, then I fussy cut and decided to keep everything in brown and white colors. I created a customized background with leaves and dots, adding a strip of patterned paper at the center. The little monkey really pops and this type of card is perfect for a boy too!

Remember to share your project in our Facebook Community, can’t wait to get inspired by you!

Easter bunnies

Are you ready for some Easter inspiration?

It’s Giada here and today I’m going to share some colorful Easter card made with one of the cutest image in the world – Eggster Bunny! I printed a bunch of them and I tried different color combos, matching each bunny with different patterned papers.

Making these cards is so easy: I started by printing, coloring and fussy cutting lots of bunnies. I wanted to get different results, so I changed color families from one to another.

I tried to match the color of the eggs with the patterned paper I used for the background. For each card, I added sentiments that says “Happy Easter” in italian and a different die cut too.

I found this face just too adorable… I think I could keep on coloring it again and again!

And you? Are you working on some Easter project? Make sure to share it with us through the Facebook Community.

Thank you for stopping by!
