Hi Oddies! Are you working on Halloween or Christmas projects? Well, there’s no reason why we can’t have one foot in both worlds!
Today’s project is all about Christmas and deers.
When I see an image that I really like, I try to combine it with different colors of paper. It happened with this sweet deer, that I printed in two different sizes, colored with alcohol markers and then fussy cut.
Since the deer was too small to fit the oval, I extended the line of the body and drew some more white dots.
In order to achieve a unique effect, I tied a string with a jingle bell.
I put the deers in an oval using foam tape, then I decided to use patterned papers as my card bases. For the smaller deer I chose a traditional color palette: red, gold and white.
For the other one I picked up a light blue paper, on which I drew some white dots as if they were snowflakes. The sentiment on both cards is an italian one that says “Merry Christmas“.
