Mary Pat here with you today with a little inspiration and a HUGE sneak peek at next week’s clear stamp set release! The stamp set is School Supplies and I totally flipped when I saw these totally adorable school supplies. Being a teacher myself I love to buy new supplies and this set totally ROCKS!
For my inspiration today I have a wonderful gift box and card set.
For my box I used a Silhouette cut file and created the box using cardstock and some pattern paper. The box holds 6 cards and envelopes. I made 3 different cards to put in the set. I wanted to create a clean and simple card set that can easily be mass produced and I chose colors that all tied together. I love to match my gift boxes with the cards- I know I am crazy like that and love everything to be matchy matchy! LOL!
Here is a closer look at the 3 different cards.
I colored my pencil with my Spectrum Noir markers and pop dotted it to the die cut to add some dimension.
Aren’t those crayons just the cutest? I so love them. Once again I colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers.
For this card I used the apple from my Fruit Salad clear stamp set. I just love this apple and every teacher needs an apple. Right?
I have created a little video for you on how I put together this gift card set. I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks so much for joining me today. The School Supplies clear stamps will be available in the Some Odd Girl shop on MONDAY, so come back then to see them in action and grab ’em in the shop! We’ll have more sneaks to share in our Facebook group on Friday! I hope you feel a bit inspired to break out your stamps and make a lovely gift card set for someone special. I know they will LOVE it!
