Hello everyone ! Here I am back this month with maybe my last post of the team and it is with great emotion that I write this post!

The months have passed so quickly, the creations are chained but I loved it so much that I would like to say that I continue the adventure with you! So I cross my fingers and I pray very hard to be able to continue on Kristy’s team with my fabulous colleagues who also created fabulous cards! I have a tender thought for each of them and for Kristy, thank you, girls, you just crazy these six months with you!

Before we all started crying, let’s move on to my card LOL

I once again wanted to highlight these small techniques that allow us to create cards in simplicity but effective!

I started by coloring one of the stamps of the mini set “Summer Girls” and then I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil that I inked with my distress ink broken china and my applicator.

Once this step was done, I used a stamp of one of Simon Says Stamp Card Kit to add some journaling to my card and some colored beads on the top of my card.

Then I cut and pasted on foam this stamp too cute for the holidays to give an impression of movement on the waves!

And here is the card obtained, at this moment I find my bases very Clean and I love it!

And you, what is your style? Show us how to use the Some Odd Girl stamps, we love to discover your creations just as wonderful!

Beautiful destination by Made By Fairy Sky

How are you on this Saturday? It’s Made By Fairy Sky today!

I’m sharing with you a seasonal card. The school year will soon come to an end so we are slowly preparing a few graduation cards and there is a stamp Some Odd Girl perfect for the occasion!

For this card, I went simple. I’ll admit CAS cards have been good for me lately! A little coloring, a simple layout, a simple design, it’s great when we run all the time between work, family and so on.

So I started this card by coloring the digi stamp Graduation Mae with my copics, then looked at my sentiments on vellum and came across this text that fit perfectly with what I wanted to inspire with my card.

I put my cut-out stamp on my text and stuck it on a Kraft cardstock before finishing with a touch of rhinestone and scattered sequins in the same colors as the rest of my card.

It’s a cool idea, no? I look forward to giving this card away soon, because part of our passion is to encourage the people around us!

Leave us a comment with a link to your card if you have also used this stamp for a special occasion! We’d love to see it!

Frog Kiss

Hello everyone!

Here comes the highlight of my first post on the SOG blog and I have to confess something to you … I was so impatient to arrive today! It’s so hard to keep secret projects until the date when we can finally share!

When I discovered the digi stamp “Royal Love”, I was like “boom”, how could you not fall for these adorable frogs? I didn’t have a design for what I was going to do, but when I saw this digi my card was drawn immediately in my head, it was as obvious, this stamp was made for me!

Imagine the scene: sitting at my desk, brush in hand, watercolor not far, go!

I began by making the background of my card on which these little frogs came to land and will be put in the spotlight.

I then colored my stamp, giving time to let the bottom of my card dry (I had so much fun with this green color that is my favorite combo since the acquisition of my copics!).

Then I add some watercolor stains to the bottom to bring a touch of extra pep before sticking my frogs, with foam tape, on my background watercolor.

Finally, I add some sequins to my background card that I adhere with a little glue on a green background.

And here is exactly the result I had imagined, I fell in love with this card personally because I love this stamp! For once, and it’s rare enough to emphasize it, I love everything! This card full of love, it gives me a smile!

So just for that, I take this opportunity to thank Kristy for allowing all of us to play with these stamps that represent wonderfully her talent!

Don’t hesitate to discover new stamps in the shop, it’s a real gold mine!
