Mini Vampire

Come and join the party!!

Hi Oddies! Susanne here with a reminder that we are halfway thru ODDtober. The party has started but it is far from over. If you don’t know what I’m talking about you can catch up in this blogpost.

The fabulous thing with these mini stamps is that you can print them in any size you like. If you want them to be the big and bold and the focal point on your card they can be. But you can also print them really small so several motifs can fit a card like I’ve done and still be able to color them. “Amazing!” I say.

On my card you can find four(!) mini Halloween digi stamps. The classic Vampire, the cute and friendly (?) Witch, the furry Werewolf and out of focus at the top the Headless Horseman. I’ve colored them with Polychromos and put them in a dark landscape lighted by the moon.

Hugs Susanne

A Spooky “Mini” Review, pt 1

2018-09-29

In: new release

Its the end of September, that means we’ve come to another Release Review!

If you haven’t joined us in previous months, or are new to our Odd Family, we use this time to give you the low down on everything that has been released over the course of the month so you don’t miss a thing. This month is slightly different though. I created an utter horde of Minis, which the Girls have been hard at work with, so I broke the Review into a 2-day affair. There’s a ton of awesome projects and I wanted to get the most in I could without being overwhelming. That means come back tomorrow to see the second half and enter to win… more on that later.

As I said, I went a bit crazy this month. I shoot for at least 1 new image a week but I think I almost tripled it… heh… so today I am sharing the group I could call your “Classic Movie Monsters”. I’m sure you’ll see what I mean.

First up, be happy that it’s getting to be scarf weather and take a bite out of our Mini Vampire Digi…

You might have noticed the use of our FREE Coffin temple up there, snag it if you haven’t already, Vampy needs a home!

Continuing with our theme, this guy is a cut above the rest, check out the Mini Frankenstein Digi stamp…

Frankie only wants to be loved. I feel like there is a tin man joke to be made here but that might be just too easy. Regardless, if we’ve got Frankenstein we have to have a Mini Bride of Frankenstein!

Frankie loves his lady so much but just nudge nudge wink wink  at her hangin out with the Mini Mummy digi stamp in Yani’s card… or maybe… she’s his… MUMMY?! I really can’t resist.

Last but not least is a fuzzy dude that has been, oddly enough, a heart throb in movies past. Does he sparkle? I didn’t watch those so I have no clue. You are free to go out and howl with the Mini Werewolf digi anytime.

I had to finish up with this group of ATCs, its the perfect teaser for our second half tomorrow! If you can’t wait or just gotta get your hands on them RIGHT NOW, you can hop over to the shop and pick them up. They want to haunt your home, don’t exercise them without giving them a chance.

Now, remember, tomorrow is Part 2 AND I’ll have a chance for you to enter to win so grab your crafty friends and stop back here, you won’t want to miss it!

Stay Spoopy!

Halloween Coffin Decor

2018-09-15

Hi everyone,

This is Yani here with another inspirational post for you. This time I’m sharing a Halloween inspired project using the Mini Vampire Digi Stamp and Some Odd Girl’s Creepy Coffin Template…

The template is super easy to use and you can adapt it to any Halloween project idea that you may have. Did I mention that it’s “free” to download? 😉 Anyway, to decorate it, I used patterned paper from Magnolia stamps, cheesecloth, bats diecuts, and a stamp sentiment from Stamping Up. I also used added eyelets, foam squares, and distressing ink for the final touches.

As for the stamp, I colored it entirely with Luminance pencils and mineral spirits. I also added Stickles as a finishing touch.

I hope that you’re enjoying the weekend. And thanks for stopping by! ~xoxo~
